STARKEY

Starkey Hearing Technologies is much more than the hearing aids they produce. They are in the business of connecting people and changing lives. Starkey believe that being able to hear the world and the people around us is as essential to the human experience as breathing.

As a world leader in manufacturing and delivering advanced hearing solutions, the Starkey goal is to bring people together and make lives richer by empowering individuals to reach their full potential in life.

Starkey Technology

Whether it’s their industry-leading line-up of invisible hearing aids, the way they took on the challenge of listening comfortably in noisy environments, or their wireless product options including Halo™—Made for iPhone® hearing aid – they’re continually innovating smaller, easier and better ways to hear. It was Starkey Hearing Technologies that created the industry’s first in-canal hearing aid and first custom, digital and fully programmable invisible hearing aid. They were also the first to use nanotechnology in hearing aids, making hearing aids waterproof, and to begin tackling the biggest challenge wearers have historically faced – hearing in noise.

Everything they do is evidence based

They rely on evidence-based design and only update products when a new technology or feature can make a measurable difference.

If it doesn’t improve your hearing experience, they don’t do it. And they always benchmark claims and product research, thoroughly testing their products internally and against other hearing aids. If they make a claim, they back it up and make their findings public.

They put innovation in action every day

From the technicians in their labs to the scientists, audiological researchers and thought leaders at their state-of-the-art Starkey Hearing Research Center in Berkeley, California, they put innovation in action every day, continually seeking ways to better understand the science of hearing loss and its impact on peoples’ lives — so they can continually develop better technologies to improve it.
